Can a broken Orchid new growth be saved? | Potting 4 Zygopetalums in one go!

Today we repot 4 new Zygopetalum orchids and we find very interesting things to show!
More info below!

I recently received some new orchids from my viewer Veronica and I finally have some new Zygopetalum varieties in my collection!

One of them has a broken new growth, which separated from the mother plant. Being that there is a root on the small rhizome, there are chances to save it! Here is another similar case with a Cattleya orchid

Recently I seem to be doing quite well with Zygopetalums, so I am up for having more variety in my collection see my community repotting
