Cattleya Orchid seedlings Update – Thoughts on deficiencies

Today we take a look at the Cattleya seedlings that I have for the past couple of years!

Orchid seedlings are generally more sensitive and demanding that mature orchids. They always grow bigger structures so they always require more nutrients and water.

When something impairs nutrient absorption, such as lack of water, inadequate pH, etc., or we are dealing with an incomplete fertilizer, deficiencies appear. Cattleya seedlings are notorious for Calcium deficiencies, so I worked on resolving them!

No point to spill a ton of Calcium in the pot, if there are factors which prevent roots from picking it up, so DON”T DO THAT! Figure out what the issue is, it might be resolved much easier than you think!
