Creating a grow space for Mini Phalaenopsis Orchids in a dark room or office!

Today we set up a new grow space for Mini Phalaenopsis orchids and other low light, small plants!

Mini Phalaenopsis orchids take the same care as their bigger counterparts, with the adequate changes regarding pot size and media. Here is my Phalaenopsis care tutorial

All we need for these tiny orchids is a secure place in our home, such a shelf, desk or table and a light source! Since natural light is scarce, we will use artificial light.

Grow lights are the norm for growing great plants, but they can be harsh on the eyes. I find that normal daylight bulbs do great for these orchids! I prefer 4000k LED bulbs with as high output as possible (specified by the lumen quantity).

In the end we get a cute little place with enough light for our orchid to flourish and not be bothersome for our family or colleagues!
